1st Airbrush Use!
I did 3 Assault Marines. I messed with the paint for a while to get a good consistency and then I sprayed. I didn't lose any detail. The paint looks nice and smooth. I think I've got a winner. Here's the Vet Sargent with Thunder Hammer:
Airbrushes save so much time for basecoating and leave such a clean coat if you get the paint consistency right. I've been using an airbrush to base-coat my tanks and it's saved so much time. Space marines are the perfect army to do this for since they are pretty mono-chromatic.
I've been playing 40k for about 2 years. I love painting and building and playing. I found after trying a few armies that I'm a Space Marine fanboy thru and thru.
My Current Painted Armies are:
Salamanders 2nd Company: 5000ish points
Ragnar Blackmane's Great Space Wolf Company: 2000ish points
Red Scorpions: 1300ish points
Current Unpainted Stuff:
Salamanders: 1500ish points
Space Wolves: 1000ish points
Red Scorpions: 2000ish points
Wow, looks like it did a nice job of covering the model.
ReplyDeletenice, did you use a GW Spraygun?
